Johnny Knoxville (of Jackass fame) has donned the old man get-up yet again for Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. This time around he's bringing his "grandson" to take part in the debauchery. Billy is played by Jackson Nicoll, whom Knoxville apparently met while shooting Fun Size. The "bad grandpa" skits have been a part of each of the three Jackass films now. In all honesty, they were never among my favorite parts. The good news is that everything in this trailer is funnier than what I've previously seen from Irving Zisman, that's the name of Knoxville's 86-year-old counterpart. There's actually a loose narrative to be found through the film as Irving brings Billy to live with his father after his mother is sent to prison. Surely she was a better to him that Grandpa Irving? It's comparable to Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat in that way and is destined to be just as successful. This trailer played before my screening of Elysium last night to riotous laughter. Who will you be bringing along to the theater on October 25th?
